In recent years, a wide range of alternatives to the classic incandescent lamp have been introduced to the market. As such, you are sure to find the right lamp for evey application and for every type of light fitting.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Operation with open lights, without protective glass, is only permitted with low-pressure lamps. Lamps with this symbol (Standard IEC 357) are suitable for use in lights without protective glass. • Halogen lamps and metal halide (high intensity) can result in the respective light housing heating up. They should therefore only be touched once the housing has cooled down. Adjustable lights and light heads that do not feature insulated positioning levers, or which exceed the maximum permissible housing temperature at the positioning point when operated at maximum wattage, should also be mounted out of reach. Appropriate solutions can be found in this chapter. • In many case, low voltage lights can also be used with suitable LED retrofit lamps. However, in some cases, due to the coming together of specific transformer and LED technologies, not all lights can be combined with all lamps - even those that may appear compatible. • The dimensions of the lamps always refer to the complete external dimensions. This is inclusive of the threaded fitting.

• All bulbs must be sorted before disposal and do not belong in the household waste.
