Installation

Housing Installation The housings are simple to install and finish although a different tool is required depending upon the ceiling finish. For ceilings where they will be skim plastered before painting a standard 62mm holesaw is required (LE9007). Where the product is being installed into a finished ceiling or the ceiling will be taped and jointed we recommend you use our specially designed Retrofit Holesaw (LE9008).

4. Plaster ceiling

1. Cut 62mm hole

2. Insert housing

3. Insert plastering disk

Please note: The use of the decorator’s disks is important as it reduces installation time and prevents the housing being filled with plaster or paint. The front plates will not fit flush if the housing has paint or plaster in it.

6. Insert painting disk

8. Remove disk before paint has completely dried

5. Remove disk before plaster has completely dried

7. Paint ceiling

9. Install, insert magnets and front plate
