Push-fit terminal connector Our innovative push-fit terminal connector has been designed specifically to speed up and simplify installation. Collingwood downlights are ready to install without the need for tools, thanks to the advanced loop in/loop out wiring that simply clamps shut on many cable types.

Energy efficient LEDs saving you money and the environment LEDs are by far the most energy-efficient method of lighting homes and businesses. This advanced technology hugely reduces the amount of energy lost as wasted heat, with no compromise on quality. An incandescent lamp, for example, converts only 10% of electricity to light, while the remaining 90% is lost as heat - an LED replacement is 90%more efficient. As well as being much better for the environment, this ‘green’ solution cuts energy bills for householders and businesses in the long-term.

IP65 rated

Most of the luminaires in the Professional’s Downlight Range are IP65 rated for longstanding protection against dust and low-pressure water jets. This means these downlights can be used throughout a property with full peace of mind, including in bathrooms and kitchens, as well as living spaces, bedrooms and corridors.

Fire-rated All the downlights featured in this guide are fire-rated in accordance with Building Regulations (Part B fire protection), using our patented fire-resistant technology. This means you can confidently choose any luminaire from the Professional’s Downlight Range with the peace of mind that your installation will be safe and legally compliant. Cutting holes for recessed downlights can create a potential fire hazard, but using a Collingwood fire- rated downlight restores the integrity of the ceiling to delay the progress of fire. All of our downlights are tested to 30, 60 and 90 minutes.

Insulation coverable At Collingwood Lighting, we are constantly developing innovative new solutions to make installation on site as quick and easy as possible. One of the latest developments in this area is our new insulation coverable design featuring in the Professional’s Downlight Range. Rolled or blown insulation can now be laid directly on top of the product for maximum ease of installation. No additional fittings are required to separate the luminaire from the insulation and the insulation will not affect the lifetime of the product

These adjustable downlights are designed to combine all the innovative features of the H2 Pro 550 with the added flexibility of H4 fittings. Tiltable to 20° in two directions, the H4 Pro 550 and its single point source counterpart are perfect in vaulted ceilings or for highlighting features and artwork on walls. The higher output of these two variations provides the ideal volume of light to illuminate spaces with higher than average ceilings in both residential and commercial environments. Brighter LEDs also means they’re perfect for spaces that need more practical task lighting, such as kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. COLOUR SWITCHABLE Our first ever colour switchable downlight completely changes the ambience and practicality of a room at the flick of a switch, with one light offering no less than three colour temperatures. Easily switch from a cool 6500K, through daylight 4000K, to a warm, cosy 3000K, without the need for several lamps, or a new

installation. This easily-fitted technology offers one light, three functions, with no additional wiring or control gear. Simply change colour temperature using a standard wall dimmer switch.

For those times where less is more, the Trimless range is the ultimate choice. The H5 Trimless and the H2 Pro Elect Trimless have been expertly

developed to completely conceal the fitting. The plate is placed flush to the ceiling and plastered over, leaving crisp, ceiling lines. The overall result is a beautiful finish, perfect for creating modern, clean spaces, or sympathetically complementing, and even enhancing, great architecture - rather than detracting from it.

It’s not only the fittings that are discreet though. The H2 Pro Elect Trimless is skillfully engineered to also combine an optically-designed reflector with recessed LEDs to eliminate unwanted glare. The result is a fire-rated downlight with an incredible Unified Glare Rating of less than 14, which produces 700lm at 82lm/W across a 45° beam angle.

This innovative technology allows any domestic or commercial space to easily be transformed from bright and functional, to warm, welcoming and cosy, in seconds. Using any standard dimmer, and no additional wiring or control gear, the colour temperature changes from 2800 / 3000K at 100% brightness gradually down to 1800 / 2000K at 25%. This makes it ideal for creating multifunctional spaces. Easily create a restaurant that can be transformed from bright and light daytime dinner service to ambient bar service in the evenings.
