Nexans Alsecure ® NX600

Nexans Alsecure® NX600 is a low smoke, halogen free, fire resistant cable approved for applications with survival times of 30, 60 and 120 minute as described in BS8519 and is designed for use with fire safety engineering systems in buildings such as:

• Sprinkler systems • Wet riser pumps

• Plus other systems which help to ensure the safest evacuation and assist in the firefighting stages of a fire

Construction Alsecure ® NX600 are armoured fire resistant cables for 600/1000V with low emission of smoke and corrosive gases when exposed to fire to further reduce the risk to life. They are designed as per BS7846 standard and are approved for the F2 and F120 fire test as per BS8491 standard. The cable is a halogen free, mica and XLPE insulated, LSF bedded, steel wire armoured and LSF sheathed cable with annealed copper conductors. In addition, the Alsecure cables have no extra tapes to remove, are easy to strip and retain their memory making them easy to install.
