Intelligent PoE The ports on Dahua PoE switches have different priori es. The smaller the port number, the higher the priority. It can guarantee power supply for VIP ports (smaller port number) when the total power consump on of PD devices exceeds the PoE budget of the switch.

8-pin Power Supply Tradi onal PoE only uses 4-pin (2-pairs) to provide power supply to the PD devices such as IP cameras.

Dahua PoE switches support 8-pin power supply with backward compa bility with 4-pin, which is able to reduce the cable loss during the transmission, especially in long distance PoE transmission.
