Functional and security lighting Residential floodlights.

Floodlights add security and illumination to outdoor areas of a home, outbuildings and business premises. LED floodlights are cost effective to run and can provide high intensity lighting to any space.

PIR - passive infrared sensor

PIR sensors utilise infrared technology to detect motion in the surrounding area, only activating when required. These are a great option for adding safety and security to outside spaces such as parking areas, driveways and entrances.

How does it work

Our floodlight PIR sensors are fully adjustable, allowing the option to point and trip the sensor Directional sensor

PIR override

PIR sensors detect changes in heat within the surrounding space.

In some instances, there may be a requirement for the floodlight to remain permanently on or off, eliminating the need for the PIR sensor on a temporary basis. With the PIR override our floodlights have the ability to cater for a multitude of requirements, allowing for flexible and easy use. To disable the PIR sensor, switch the floodlight off and on within two seconds. In this mode, the floodlight will remain illuminated until the PIR is activated again. To reactivate the PIR sensor, switch the floodlight off for 10 seconds. When turned back on again, the floodlight will return to PIR mode.

in one direction and illuminate another.

In an ideal situation, this would be practised in areas such as alley ways, whereby the floodlight will light if the sensor is triggered as a person approaches the walkway.

When a new object enters the area the infrared energy levels change rapidly, this trips the sensor and turns on the light.

Flicker-free

We’ve designed this light with three colour temperatures which can be changed using an IP65 switch on the back.

With 118lm/W, we’re proud to offer our floodlights as the most energy efficient we’ve ever produced. Not only does this provide a cost saving over time, but is also hugely beneficial with regards to environmental welfare.

The two benefits of a flicker-free light are:

health problems such as migraines, so flicker-free alternatives make for a more comfortable setting.

Security

Flickering floodlights disrupt the quality of CCTV images. However, using flicker- free alongside cameras will ensure a perfect, crisp image.
