Functional illumination Bulkheads.

Ideal for exteriors and illuminating large outdoor spaces. This versatile product is also suitable for internal stairwells and where there is a requirement for well lit spaces by a high output luminaire.

Microwave sensors Microwave sensors create spaces that are energy efficient as the light will only activate when sensing motion nearby. The microwave option is perfect for areas with high footfall, such as public spaces, communal corridors and staircases.

How does it work

The sensor detects movement from up to 6 meters away and allows the user to set up two step-dim parameters, reducing the light output during stand-by period, saving energy whilst maintaining ambient illuminance for a prolonged period, until turns off, offering full control of the luminaire light output and the time it is on. When a moving object enters the area, the sensor receives a new reflection which trips the sensor and activates the light.

Microwave sensors send out pulses which bounce off nearby objects and measure the reflections.

Emergency pack service

In the event of a power outage, your emergency lighting system will illuminate a safe evacuation route. Ideal for commercial and high occupancy buildings such as office spaces, hospitals and hotels.

Collingwood Lighting’s pre-wired emergency pack service option is available across our bulkhead range offering a flexible solution to compliment any lighting scheme. With this service, the wiring has already been completed so you don’t have to, providing peace of mind and reducing installation time.

The emergency versions will remain illuminated for a minimum of three hours using Li-on batteries, and the convenient manual test feature will ensure that any failings will be clearly evident.
