The Solution The front-of-house was upgraded with Anzo Multiled CCT Adjustable Downlights and Prism Pro CCT Fire Rated Downlights, adding brighter, modern lighting with flexible colour temperature options. The Adler Slim Exit Box ensured safety compliance with a discreet finish, while the Tornado Evo provided durable, high-output lighting for the demanding kitchen environment. The Project Shakey J’s Diner needed to replace its outdated, dim lighting—which was so poor that customers sometimes assumed the diner was closed—with a brighter, modern solution. The aim was to create a welcoming atmosphere, improve safety and visibility (especially in the kitchen), and ensure the lighting complemented the diner’s quirky interior style. The Result The diner is now brighter, more inviting, and better suited to different times of day thanks to adjustable lighting tones. Improved visibility has enhanced both customer experience and kitchen safety, while the upgraded fittings offer long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.
