Case Study Tipperary University Hospital

The Solution Ansell Lighting specified a tailored LED and smart control package across the site. Pace Plus panels provided low-glare corridor lighting, supported by EndLED Lithium Exit Boxes for emergency signage. Patient and clinical areas were upgraded using a mix of Comfort Evo, Oxford, Volo (with emergency packs) and Galaxy fittings, while Mercurial IP54 improved stairwell safety. Externally, Wolf wallpacks enhanced security lighting, with Tornado Evo 2 installed in the boiler room. OCTO Smart Switches and PIR sensors were added throughout to automate lighting and reduce waste. LED lighting with intelligent controls—delivering reliable, glare-free illumination for corridors, rooms, stairwells, and outdoor spaces, while reducing unnecessary energy consumption. The Result The hospital now benefits from a modern, efficient, and safer lighting installation that supports staff and patient wellbeing through consistent, comfortable illumination.
