The LIA offers members of this industry a specific Quality Assurance solution, which addresses legislative and regulatory requirements specific to the lighting industry and is designed to operate as a robust standalone quality solution, or as a scheme to work in conjunction with ISO9001. Using a modular approach and focusing on ‘product type’ specific requirements, LIAQA identifies the criteria for product acceptance, manufacturing process requirements, and the evidence that supports product conformity. As an LIAQA-assured company and a member of the Lighting Industry Association (LIA), Ansell Lighting received during 2019, the coveted LIAQA award for our commitment to quality and we are proud of this recognition. Focus has been placed on implementing improved quality processes, alongside staff training and investing heavily in third party product testing. We have produced a robust system for product approval, technical file generation, maintenance and quality assurance checks, all supported by a dedicated QA team.
